GRAMMY ARTIST SHAGGY & INTERNATIONAL DANCE/RECORDING ARTIST BRUCK UP TEAMS UP WITH BARBADOS MUSIC AWARD WINNER, TARAH, TO RELEASE THEIR HOT NEW TRACK

Via: Hit Island

“Sunglasses – Keep Yuh Shades On” is an infectious Pop, Soca and Dancehall fusion track, which was originally released last year by Bruck Up featuring Shaggy. With their eyes set on the Barbadian market, Rodney Hill (RHH Music Corp.), management for Bruck Up decided to introduce the track to Barbados and by doing so, chose Barbadian artist Tarah for the remix. Jamaican Production/DJ duo Alric and Boyd remixed the track. In this track, Tarah is heard in a completely different light where she confidently raps over the track and adds a balance with her sultry and sexy flow – one similar to that of female rap artist Eve. The Soca remix has been released to radio outlets & will be released on itunes.

As the world continues to embrace and become even more familiar with the sexy Jamaican Artist Shaggy, some are a little shady on Bruck Up. George “Bruck Up” Adams is certainly no stranger to the entertainment scene as he is originally known for his dance moves – contorting his body into the most mind-blowing and visually stunning forms. He has performed with Busta Rhymes in his video – Put Your Hands Where Your Eyes Can See – and has done countless appearances with artists like Wyclef Jean and Jay Z. His work extends to the likes of Shaggy, Teddy Riley, Rockwilder, Lumidee and our own Rupee.

These three could not have chosen a better time as they now join the list of the many international recording artistes such as Pitt Bull, Lil John with Machel Montano releasing songs in our Crop Over festival. This will of course, bring even more attention to the country as the festival continues to grow and attract other artist to release here.

The song is currently heating up the charts worldwide and has been licensed to Malibu Rum for use in the brand’s advertising campaign.

With less than three (3) weeks left in this season, it is hoped that these three will be seen performing before the festival culminates and that party goers will continue to heed the call of wearing their sunglasses – Keep Yuh Shades On – even at night.
