The US leg of reggae singer Tarrus Riley’s latest tour continues to attract fans from across the United States. The jaunt has so far played in Connecticut, Rhode Island in New York, Virginia, Washington and New Jersey.
In a release, Riley was quite excited about the tour and spoke about the acceptance of reggae music by its ardent supporters. ‘The tour has been really exciting and the fans have been coming out in large numbers and accepting the positive reggae music that we are giving them’.
Riley’s US tour follows closely on the heels of a two week jaunt in Europe.
There are four shows remaining on the US leg of Riley’s tour. The tour comes to an end on August 24 at BB King in New York City.
Back home in Jamaica, Riley’s latest single and video Wildfire (Protect the People) continues to bubble under several video and singles charts. It recently peaked at number three on Video Alley Top Ten Countdown.
